GE Frame 9F Users Conference
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is sponsoring the 19th annual GE Frame 9F Gas Turbine Users Conference in Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dubai, from 18.01.2010 to 20.01.2010. Frame 9F Gas Turbine is one of the largest power generating turbines in the world, which is manufactured by General Electric, USA.
Gas Turbines are backbone of the power generation and water production systems and their optimum operation and maintenance is paramount to ensure reliable and available power and water at lowest cost with minimum impact on the environment.
The users of the gas turbines from all over the world gather annually to discuss and share experience in operation and maintenance of these units and implement lessons learned in order to maximize efficiency and reliability of their systems.
In response to DEWA’s call for the conference, more than 500 delegates applied out of which about 220 were selected. This make the Dubai conference the most successful in terms of number of delegates compared to previous number of maximum 155. General Electric will attend parts of the proceedings to address questions raised by the delegates.
There will be about 30 presentations by various delegates and GE and various discussion sessions during the two and a half days conference which will be posted in the conference web site.
