  Can the party submit Construction NOC for Network Services without verified trial pits details?
  Yes. In case there is no any existing service on the site / GIS Sheet.

  Do you accept any 11kv cable under the proposed asphalt parking?
  As per dewa policy, yes & the cable should be in proper depth 90cm with Proper protection.

  Do you require any proposed Duct under existing Carriageway? Why?
  No, because there will not be any contraction/ excavation work on the existing roads.

  HOW GIS CONTRIBUTE IN DEWA BUSINESS FUNCTIONS?
  GIS provides engineers with Utility Maps most commonly used for issue of NOC and CAR, PAR. Map are attached to such issue as documents and indicate Electricity & water network facility for the scope of are in consideration. DEWA facilities are shown represented colored simplogy and referenced to a legend in the map enabling easy to locate of facility by users.

  How many days required for issuing NOC to the party?
  As per agreement with Services Authorities (R.T.A / DM / ETC / Du……..), the NOC should be issued within 14 working days.

  How many layers DEWA HV Duct can be laid and what’s the maximum limit to provide it?
  On ducts, it should be laid within two (2) layers and the numbers of required ducts depend on the width of the corridor and spacing between the two (2) ducts should be 150 mm.

  In DEWA a Utilities organization, GIS is used for Mapping Electricity & Water Network facilities from Generation/Source to Consumer Service Point / Sink and displayed to Engineers in variety of ways on need basis to server their Analytical business functions.

  • Type & Quantity of cables
  • Type & Number of Joints
  • Program of work (When they required these Materials)
